Oriago to San Dona di Piave

Just minutes before arriving here, sandwiched between a canal and the Adriatic, I said to Devon "Atleast we haven't had any wild goose chases and back tracking" I guess I should have kept my trap closed. As we're staring and thinking "what the fuck" an Italian jogger shows up and tells us its only a couple of inches deep. No Problemo!! He does it all the time on his bicci. I touched my front tire to the water and wanted to give it a go when Devon said "No Way,  If I fall it's all over!!"  Then I thought, not only would it be all over but there would be a lot of hell to pay for, for coaxing her on, that would not be worth it. So another route was in order.
We had stop here on the way out of town to pray for "No Rain"
The tulip trees, I think thats what there called, are now in bloom.
Riding through the city Mestre just north of Venice
Through a nature preserve.

Changing out my long leggings for shorter ones. BOY are those legs white!

I love the earthy yellow color. You normally see more pink colors.

A sailboat in the canal. I think he is waiting for the locks to open.
We arrived to our destination after 61km and out to a wonderful dinner.
A single shrimp appetizer with our wine. It was amazing at what they did with that one shrimp.  I wish I had a plate of 20.

An upside down picture of an incredible pistachio pasta.
A gnocchi pasta with smoked mozzarella. Both incredible..

A night cap of lemon cello and a licorice drink for Devon.
A kiss at the bar to send me to heaven
But what the hell is going on with my rubber legs. Can I really even pedal a bike.
On our 30 minute walk back to the hotel. A wonderful day.
