Bologna to Ferarra

Our Beautiful Cover Picture

Can you imagine going to the council and putting forward the proposal to erect (!) a sculpture of a buxom nude woman squirting water from her lovely full breasts - and we know the perfect spot... right in the middle of the town square for all to see and admire. What's not to love about that idea ?

Imagine the letter writing campaign that would ensue! Indignation! The righteousness on display! Corrupting our youth! Distorting their brains! Provoking uncontrollable lust! And much, much more.
(from our ghost writers Miles and Suzie)

The morning of our flight we woke up to this! Snow! A beautiful scene but it made us a bit nervous about getting to the airport on time but in the end, not a problem.  Our great friend Brenda got us there with more than enough time to spare.

Not too busy until we run into the Bologna Marathon event.

The beginning of the ride along a canal, after a few days of rain, was quite muddy.

We elect to leave the mud behind and hit the roads when we saw a beautiful blooming tree. This women saw us and gave us a branch.

Our first gift of the trip from her Mimosa tree.  Wonderful fragrance.

A café stop for a little pick me up.
