You can see the territury we traveled today, 95 percent from today, by the video. More hills more traffic. The worst part was going up the hills on the country highways. The slower you go the worse it is. You tend to swerve more plus they tend to give you less leeway. When we got to the top of one hill the path down was steep, exhilarating, and fun. When we got to the bottom we realized we F'ING MSSED OUR TURN at the top of the hill. We weren't going back up so after some rerouting and some extra distance we were back on course.

Those hills look worse on the graph! Happy you got to Trieste and can have a bit of a rest. So impressed by your riding! And you didn't even fall over at the stoplight. Haha.
ReplyDeleteThey always look bigger on the graph. It kind of freaks Devon out a bit when I do the planning. I do have to say that the hills are a lot harder toting all your gear in the panniers than on our other bikes. Who wrote the comment?
